Southern National Congress Committee to Convene
(from page 1) The Southern National Congress Committee (SNCC) invites all Southerners of good character and good will to take part in the second meeting of the SNCC on Saturday, March 18, 2006, at the Henry County Administration Building in McDonough, GA, located about 45 minutes south of Atlanta. The SNCC is the convening and support organization for the Southern National Congress (SNC). The Committee first met in McDonough last March to begin the organizational support for the SNC. The second Committee meeting will continue laying the foundations for the actual Congress, the first session of which is scheduled to take place early in 2007.
The Southern National Congress is designed as a forum in which Southerners can come together to raise an authentic voice for the traditional liberties, culture, and welfare of the Southern people. The SNC will provide an alternative, legitimate means of expressing Southern goals, grievances, and solutions in a way that does not presently exist. The SNC will provide an antidote to the disenfranchisement of those Southerners who refuse to bow the knee to centralized, unaccountable, runaway government in Washington.

Neither of the two major political parties truly represents the South’s interests or welfare. The SNC seeks to fill that void, arising from the belief that we Southerners, while seeking God’s favour and guidance, have to start taking responsibility for ourselves.
Details of the second SNCC meeting will be be available soon, including directions to the meeting place, accommodations, and points of contacts for the Florida SNC Committee. Much planning and organizing remain to be done for the March 18 event. As these plans solidify, they will be posted on the Freedom First website. Those committed to the cause of the South and its heritage of ordered liberty, are invited to join us on March 18 in McDonough, GA.

Construction and Operation of the SNC will be patterned after the Continental Congress of 1774 and 1775. This body, once established, will make known to appropriate entities the needs and desires of we the disenfranchised Citizens of the Southern States.
More to come as this story develops.

Group Looks To School Board For Return To History, Civics
In local news, a group of American partiots is working with the Duval County School Board in an effort to bring true American History and Civics back to the classroom. The group seeks to educate young minds in the proper understanding of how our government works and the principals on which the country was founded. "The youth of today are ignorant of our Country's true history. Especially the history of the South and the Confederacy.", a spokesman reported. "This is sad. We also feel special emphasis is needed on the Constitution, both of the United States and the Confederate States."
A look at the State of Florida approved American History text for eighth grade students in Duval County titled America's Past and Promise clearly shows the authors' apparant misstatement of the clear intent of the Constitution and an obvious and glaring bias against the South.
A close look at this "history" of America will reveal the errors and omissions purportrated in an attempt to redirect the student's attention from the facts. Its blatant attempt at the cultural genocide of Southern citizens is obvious and purposely designed to humiliate and denigrate our people. We feel that children of the Confederate States should be taught a complete and truthful history of their country.
In welcoming the student to this text, the authors state in part, ".. You, its reader, represent the future promise of America. We hope that by knowing America's past, you will help fulfill America's promise."
We in the South feel that America's promise lies in Freedom, Liberty and Government of the People, not for the people. Only in learning and understanding the truth of our past can these principals endure for the future.
Parents should definately read this text exposing its obvious northern indoctrination of centralized power and join in an effort to have it and others like it removed from our schools and replaced with a study of the truth.
